current read update/daily digital planning bullet journal layout | realistic digital bullet journal spread

Thursday, September 21st

I am still obsessed with this layout I made in the upcoming release (the realistic undated digital bullet journal used here), maybe mainly because I’m obsessed with the new book I picked up to buddy read with Kyla & Sam, my friends and fellow group members. So if you want. chance to do a buddy read with me in the future, why aren’t you posting in my Facebook group? 🥰

I’m currently reading:

  1. A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid

The quote below is one of the first quotes you read of the text and it just immediately immerses you into the world right away, and gets you hooked and curious and wanting more. I’m on chapter five or so and it’s been like that the whole time. 🥵 (Bravo, Ava Reid, I am loving A Study in Drowning!)

ASID is actually my first e-book read of 2023! Up to this point I’ve been purely an auduobook-girl up till a couple months ago, where I purchased my second physical book of the year: The Secret History, and I’ve been annotating it and loving it tbh! I really wanted to annotate ASID with my buddies I’m reading the novel with so we downloaded a PDF version to annotate together as a collaborative document in Goodnotes and it’s been so fun! The annotations we are making are so fun and also some are hilarious lmao. It’s a good time.

There’s a picture of me holding a half gallon of milk on this page because I walked to the gas station near me and got milk to make chai lattes at home instead of doordashing a $10+ Starbucks drink since I was stuck at home this day (my husband had our car for the day). I’ve been trying to save money and so I thought the photo honored me sticking to my new healthier habits really well, even though it’s bland and normal photo, it meant a lot to me at the time and I love to look back on myself sticking to my intentions I set for the month. 🥰

Would you want me to post a blog in the future that goes over any of my reading annotations? Let me know!
