Hey, fellow photographers! 👋 As 2024 rolls on, I’ve taken a step back to dive deeper into my photography and business skills—because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you’re never done growing. If you're anything like me, you know the grind of hustling for your creative dreams, but sometimes, you hit a wall and need something to reignite your spark. And that’s when I hopped on the Creative Struggle Bus.
I’ve been an avid member of the BOUDIY Community, BouDIY® 🪄DIY for Boudoir photographers! Create cool 💩 & have FUN!, a facebook group geared towards education for boudoir photographers, since 2020! That’s four years I’ve gotten to watch and learn from Alaynna Marr.
Who is Alaynna Marr?
Well, the creator of the BOUDIY Community! But recently also my friend and kind-hearted mentor, which makes me feel especially blessed. Alaynna is the founder of BOUDIY where she offers amazing resources for boudoir photographers looking to grow and connect. She’s created incredible boudoir photography and her work is some that I’ve personally admired for years.

I printed out the handouts and homework (and girl, it was almost a full ream of paper—400 sheets!)—Alaynna doesn’t miss a single detail. 👏 The mobile-friendly access has been an absolute game-changer, with video lessons that cover everything from marketing strategies to personal growth. The detail of the course makes my neurodivergent ADHD brain go “YAY this is what my neurodivergent brain needed!”
Personal takeaways:
